Who Is Shiloh Malachi?
By Award Winning Author: Sammy Sutton
Shiloh: Winner of a Christlit Book Award 2026!
Who Is Shiloh Malachi? by Sammy Sutton is a cycle of 33 stories exploring faith, compassion, and the quiet power of human kindness.
Shiloh, a name found in Genesis 49:10 and long associated with messianic prophecy, carries a profound significance. Malachi means “my messenger,” echoing the final prophetic book before the silence.
Shiloh Malachi moves through ordinary lives—a nurse facing a custody battle, a soldier haunted by an unfinished war, a grieving widow, a troubled teenager, and a politician confronting uncomfortable truths. He listens, notices what others overlook, and offers no grand sermons or miraculous spectacles. Instead, he helps people discover the next small act they must take themselves.
Sutton's faith-centered storytelling finds its theology in everyday acts of service, humility, and compassion. The mystery of Shiloh is never resolved through spectacle, but through presence and purpose.

Concealed
By Award Winning Author: Sammy Sutton
Winner of the Christlit Book Award 2026, Concealed, is a powerful Christian suspense novel that weaves apocalyptic tension with profound spiritual depth. As darkness falls across the earth and the veil between the seen and unseen begins to tear, Johanna Mueller and scientist Michael Levine are drawn into a harrowing journey marked by survival, sacrifice, and an awakening faith forged in suffering. Pursued by false prophets, violent powers, and an ancient evil determined to silence the truth, they must protect a child whose life may carry prophetic significance in the final conflict between light and darkness. Yet at its heart, Concealed is more than a story of the end times—it is a testimony to the power of God’s truth, the refining fire of tribulation, and the unshakable hope that endures when every earthly refuge falls away. In a world collapsing beneath judgment, this novel asks not only whether faith can survive, but whether hearts can be made ready for redemption when the glory of God draws near.

Darkening Danger
By Sammy Sutton
About the Book: Darkening Danger is a gripping science fiction thriller that plunges readers into a world where scientific certainty collapses and survival depends on courage, faith, and human connection. Told with cinematic immediacy, the story follows geophysical engineer Michael Levine as he faces an unimaginable catastrophe: Jupiter’s protective shield has failed, and a mysterious darkness begins swallowing the Earth. As panic spreads and institutions falter, Michael is forced into a desperate fight to stay alive, protect those around him, and uncover the meaning behind a crisis that seems to defy logic itself.
Along the way, Michael rescues a woman whose insight into the phenomenon may hold the key to humanity’s fate, even as a relentless pursuer closes in and society unravels under the weight of fear, confusion, and spiritual unrest. What begins as a race against extinction becomes something far more profound—a test of resilience, purpose, and belief in the face of an all-consuming void. Blending high-stakes suspense with thought-provoking themes, Darkening Danger explores the fragile balance between innovation and helplessness, asking whether the darkness is merely a cosmic event or a final warning humanity can no longer ignore. Atmospheric, fast-paced, and emotionally charged, this unforgettable novel invites readers to confront their deepest fears while considering what it truly means to endure when the light goes out.

CONCEALED TRUTH - A Thought-Provoking Blend of Science, Faith, and Hope (click to see more...)
A Thought-Provoking Blend of Science, Faith, and Hope
From the first few pages, it becomes evident that Concealed is more than an average post-apocalyptic novel. Combining the genres of sci-fi, mystery, suspense, and faith in the story that constantly asks questions and uncovers a greater context, Concealed turns into a profound reflection on hope, sacrifice, love, and redemption.
One of the main aspects of the book that made it memorable and impressive is the atmosphere created by the author. There is something mysterious about the world in the novel that keeps us interested. I really wanted to learn more about what has happened to the world, how the convergence points work and where everything is going to lead us. The world-building is impressive, the world is full of imagination and details, yet it does not steal attention from the characters.
Michael's journey is another aspect that makes the novel worth reading. It is realistic and the growth of the main hero happens gradually, slowly. Johanna is another character that I liked very much, she brings a lot of emotion to the story. Their relationship grows in parallel with the development of the story. There are some moments in the story that make the reader reflect on life, loyalty, loss, love. The characters are well-built and they are the most important part of the book.
For the most part of the novel, the pace is good. I like the balance between action scenes and more character-centered scenes, when the reader can have some time to process all the emotions and events that happen in the book. Sometimes the novel introduces several ideas related to science, philosophy, spirituality and religion, so one needs to pay attention and think carefully about them.
The emotionality of the novel intensified towards the end. There were some truly remarkable moments, especially those depicting sacrifice, grief, and the development of character's relationships.
Overall, the novel developed from a tale of survival in a dystopian society to a story of restoration and hope. The finale was both emotionally satisfying and consistent with the themes the author was developing throughout the entire story. Those readers who love to read faith-based books will probably appreciate it.
Concealed is a truly interesting mixture of speculative fiction and Christian literature. The book provides readers with an exciting premise, well-developed characters, deep themes, and an emotional finish. Although readers, who seek for action-packed science-fiction tales, might find a lot of philosophy in the book, those who prefer character-focused and mysterious stories with hope and interesting themes will enjoy reading the novel.
I would like to recommend this book to readers who are fond of apocalyptic novels and speculative thrillers.
